Description
Snowshoes get you off the packed paths and into the forest itself, where the snow holds everything that has crossed it. Your guide reads the tracks with you — deer, fox, hare, occasionally something more interesting — and explains what the winter woods are doing.
The route out of Obereggen is steady rather than steep, and no previous snowshoe experience is needed.
