Description
The Ponale falls into the lake down a cleft in the cliff, and there is no path — the only way to get to the bottom of it is by water. This morning paddle from Riva takes about two and a half hours there and back, along the base of the cliffs.
Beginners are welcome as long as you can swim. Mornings are chosen because the wind gets up later.
Included: instructor, kayak and buoyancy aid. Not included: transfers, swimwear and towel.
