The Mincio leaves the lake at Peschiera and runs south through a flat green corridor of river, reeds and small villages. The cycle path follows it, and this three-hour guided ride covers the best of it without a single serious climb.
Good for families, beginners, and anyone who wants the lake's hinterland rather than its shoreline.
