The Pflegerhof has been growing aromatic and medicinal herbs organically on this slope for decades, and the visit takes you through the whole of it: the beds, what grows next to what and why, and how the harvest is dried and processed.
It is a working farm rather than a display, and the smell of the drying room is the part people remember.
