Description
Val Gardena has carved wood for export since the seventeenth century, and the workshops in Ortisei are still where that skill lives. A local craftsman takes you through the basics of relief carving — how to hold the tools, how the grain decides what you can and cannot do.
You work on your own piece. It will not be a masterpiece, and you will understand exactly how much skill is in the ones that are.
Included: master craftsman and basic materials. Not included: shipping, extras and transfers unless stated.
