Description
Tires sits below the Catinaccio in a valley full of working farms, and this walk goes between them — through the rural landscape, past the masi, with your guide telling the stories the valley tells about itself. The Dolomite legends are not decoration here; they are how people explained the mountains they lived under.
The route includes a historic Venetian sawmill, water-powered and still standing, which explains a good deal about how these valleys were built.
Included: guide and the content of the walk. Not included: entrance fees not stated and hotel transfers.
