Lake Maggiore as you’ve never seen it (we’ll bet on that): aboard a sailing catamaran! Sail in the company of a sailing instructor between the Piedmont and Lombardy shores, from Castelletto sopra Ticino to Ispra. Let the wind and water guide you, possibly towards Stresa or Angera. And if you want to feel like a “captain” for a day, you can actively take part in life on board.
What we’ll do Marco, the sailing instructor, will meet you at the selected time at the meeting point in Castelletto sopra Ticino (NO). After boarding, you’ll be ready to set sail. You will cross Lake Maggiore, departing from the Piedmont shore and reaching the Lombardy shore near Ispra. During the navigation, you will be able to admire the main attractions of Lake Maggiore, including the ever-charming Borromean Islands. Depending on the weather conditions, we will then head towards Stresa and Baveno or towards Arona. At your choice, you can relax and enjoy the sailing experience or take an active role on board: you can help trim and adjust the sails or steer the helm. In both cases, it will be a close-to-nature experience, as wind and water will be the true forces guiding the journey. Finally, return to the meeting point for a total experience of approximately 2 hours.
Who it is for The experience is suitable for everyone aged 8 and above; minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at boarding. The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information The starting time of the experience may vary depending on weather and wind conditions at the organiser’s discretion; you will be contacted accordingly. The boat is a lightweight Hobie Cat 15 catamaran, 5 meters long and 3 meters wide, equipped with a sunshade. Shoes are not allowed on board and must be left at boarding. A maximum of 1 dog is allowed on board; the dog must be comfortable in water and wear protective socks.

Don’t forget to bring: Beach towel, sunscreen, swimsuit, hat, sunglasses, snacks
