The town’s first hotels were created here to welcome travelers passing through, reflecting Baveno’s long-standing tradition of hospitality. Located at the heart of the Borromean Gulf inlet, Baveno is a true panoramic balcony overlooking the lake. Walking along the lakeside promenade, you will admire the eclectic style of historic villas and the beauty of their English gardens. Your guide will tell you about the historical and literary figures who, like you, chose Baveno for their stay, while accompanying you up a scenic staircase leading to the monumental historic center — a rare gem of Paleochristian and Romanesque architecture, still remarkably well preserved today.
